About Venmo

Venmo started in 2009 as the first mainstream peer-to-peer mobile payment process.  Venmo successfully changed the way people nowadays pay each other back, making the process simple, easy and efficient.  More than that, their fun platform provides a casual nature helping ease tension in personal relationships.

Design Challenge

Venmo is one of my favorite products to use.  Although I love the product, I was experiencing some minor issues and wanted to see if other users had similar experiences.  So, I took it upon myself to try and improve Venmo through a case study exploration eventually leading to a new and improved Venmo. 

Role: Product Designer

As a product designer, I performed user testing on the existing product, analyzed user reseach, prioritized pain points, developed lo/hi-fi wireframes and created a prototype using Flinto.
