USC Innovation Academy: The Garage
Dr. Dre & Jimmy Iovine Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation

About

In 2013, Beats By Dre's founders Dr. Dre (aka Andre Young) and Jimmy Iovine decided to share the secrets of their success with incoming undergraduates at USC. With a generous donation and a vision, they launched a new technology design school, the USC Innovation Academy -- infusing art, technology and the business of innovation.  The program takes place in "The Garage", an innovation hub located in the rotunda on the top floor of USC's student union.
